Roy Rodriguez

I'm currently a Product Development Engineer II at DuraVent. I received my BS in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Sacramento in 2015. I was an active member for SHPE's student chapter and served as Fundraising Officer in 2013. Now as the Event Coordinator for Delta Valley SHPE chapter, my focus is to plan, organize, arrange activities, help market events, and most importantly, bring the fun to the organization. A bit about myself, I enjoy playing soccer, hiking, visiting microbreweries in nationwide, wine tasting, and cooking.

Lizette Martinez is a Project Engineer at Bennett Engineering Services. After graduating from North Salinas High, she received her Bachelor of Science as a Civil Engineer from UC Davis and got her MS degree at CSU Sacramento. She has been involved with SHPE as an undergraduate through CALESS. Lizette decided to be part of SHPE in order to expand her network with like minded people who want to give back to the community. As the Student Outreach Liaison she plans to inform students of ways to maximize the resources SHPE has to offer such as scholarships and professional development opportunities. In her free time she likes to be outdoors, travel, and visit family.

Jesus Guerrero is a project engineer for Bay Cities Paving and Grading. He was born and raised in Santa Rosa, CA. Jesus has a B.S in Civil Engineering from CSU, Sacramento. He was drawn to civil engineering after taking an introduction to engineering course at the Santa Rosa Junior College. After attending his first SHPE meeting at CSUS, he knew he wanted to be part of the organization that gives back to the community and helps other Latinos. Being involved with SHPE has given him many opportunities. His personal goal with his position is to be sure SHPE has fun activities where great memories can be made. A fun fact about me is that I grew up on a farm until the age of 11.
