2025 - 2026 Board Members

Monserrath has been an active member of SHPE for over four years now. She has held Outreach and Student Liaison Chair positions for various SHPE chapters. She was recently a volunteer on the Logistics Team for the 2024 SHPEtinas Conference. Monserrath is a civil engineer, and she currently works for the Public Works Department at the City of Stockton where she manages various Capital Improvement Projects. She takes pride in working with the members of the Delta Valley region all around. 

Erick Pastran is a BS & MS civil engineering graduate from the University of the Pacific. He is currently working as a junior civil engineer for GDR Engineering Inc. Some of his hobbies are woodworking, language learning, and checking out new places.

Ixelt Garcia is a field engineer for a marine construction company in Rio Vista. When she was at Cal Poly - SLO, she was their SHPE chapter's Freshman Representative and VP of Community Affairs, and she also became the Region 1 Student Representative. She is extremely excited to continue supporting the SHPE community as the upcoming Secretary for the Delta Valley Professional Chapter 

Marco has been an active member of SHPE since 2022. He started by taking on the role as Director of Professional Development at Sacramento State SHPE, becoming President the year after. He is a mechanical engineering graduate from Sacramento State University and currently works as a Field Engineer for Veteran Pipeline Construction(VPC). He’s happy to give back to SHPE as much as SHPE gave to him.

Guadalupe Reyes is a civil engineering graduate from the University of the Pacific. She currently works at JCWagner & Associates, Inc., a structural engineering firm, where she designs various types of commercial and residential projects, from office building remodels to brand new custom homes. She is also a board member for the UOP School of Engineering and Computer Science Latino Alumni Club (SLAC) and ASCE Central Valley Branch. She is excited to join the SHPE board and support members in the SHPE community and beyond.

Alfredo Cardenas has been an active SHPE member since 2023. He is a BS mechanical engineering graduate from the Sacramento State University. His hobbies are learning languages, mixed martial arts, and traveling.
